Service was great. Explanation was given as to the weird payment. It was also for the next weeks subscription.
Baby finished all the food, despite some funny faces. Which is a good thing!
Refunds offered, but will not be taken up, as I’ll continue on with the subscription.
Original review:
I have two issues with this company.
1. Late delivery. I paid for delivery before 8am. And now it’s projected to be delivered between 8.45-9.00. Unacceptable and unreliable, especially for working parents.
2. Hidden “early start” costs of £9.99? Early delivery was £1, and now there’s an unexplained early start cost? So, food was £9.99, but I’m now paying 20.89 for late delivery.
Customer service never goes through - both for delivery and general enquiries.
I cannot speak to the quality of the food yet.

I've been using V&Me for a good few months and absolutely love it. My baby is trying so many new flavours that she wouldn't get with my cooking! The customer service team as well as the drivers are all amazing, I couldn't be happier with the service and am so glad I found them! Thank you team x

UPDATED !
After reviewing it the first time I received an amazing feedback with suggestions from the company to give them other try . Then in couple of weeks the nursery , which we wanted to register our son with , was speaking very highly of them saying that company is trustworthy, adapts to the children , healthy food , big varieties and the kids absolutely love it. So , I decided to try them again. The next day after making an order I received an email personally from the founder ( which, in a good way, I was very surprised of ) greeting me back. She wanted to make sure this time everything was gonna be smooth. Well .. it was ! The driver was very pleasant and wished us Good morning , the food was packed nicely with recycling option , but mainly the food was delicious. Both of my children enjoyed it and whatever they didn’t finish - I did ! Honestly, I’m so glad I gave it another try. You can see they put a lot of effort and care in what they do. Initially I wanted to just delete my previous review but then I thought it’s better to keep it here so others can see how great their customer service is and that the food is yummy. I guess the first time the flavours weren’t something we were used to.
We done and thank you for making me change my mind !

Really disappointing. Ordered a meal for my under 1 and a 3 year old. Both are good eaters , no problem trying new foods but thought would be an amazing option in case my hands are to full to cook. The number one thing which “annoyed” me is the delivery. Apparently they only deliver before 8 and this option cannot be changed. In the instructions I asked NOT TO RING THE BELL but to call my cell instead. So at 7am the rang the BELL ! Waking my whole family up and I the. Had to deal with the screams for 20 minutes from both of my children. Still so angry with this ! And the food wasn’t tasty at all. Like absolutely nothing. Neither my kids or me liked it. Everything was binned. And on top of that the pie came in an aluminium pod , which is beyond unhealthy if they cook in it. Ordered Lune + Wild ,it arrived today and we all loved it.

I have been ordering food for my child from V&Me for more than 1 year. The service was extremely helpful for me to provide good variety of freshly made food. Best thing about it in my view is that it is cooked on the day, so it is always fresh. The variety is exclent and I would not have been able to cook so many different meals. It gave my child the exposure to ingredients I would not use regularly which I find great.
They accommodate various alergies and intolerances. My little one became temporary diary intolerant after a tummy bug and they switched him to diary free option until he fully recovered. The food is delicious too.
It is easy to pause the subscription when on holiday or when not needed. Their response time is quick.
I would recommend to parents of both picky and good eaters. I have an older child who has always been conservative with trying new foods and I wished I had V&Me with me when I was introducing foods at the time, as I would have provided exposure to variety of ingredients without having to spend a lot of time in the kitchen.
